No you do not, the competition is open worldwide but you must be allowed to freely travel to the United States. This can be through an existing visa or the United States Visa Waiver Program - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visa-waiver-program.html We cannot offer visa advice and will not get involved in visa related issues.
You only have one entry to the competition, but if you want to change your submission at any time during the submission stage, you can delete it and re-submit a new one as many times as you want. Once we’re in the ratings and voting stage, you will no longer be able to change your entry.
For us to properly evaluate and rate you as an artist, we must see you performing the song. This does not mean you have to submit a really high end music video, as you will not be judged or rated on the quality of the video but the quality of the song you’ve written and recorded.
No - only the quality of the song is judged, but we do encourage you to make the video to the best of your ability!
50 entries in total will be sent to S1 for judging. The top 35 highest rated entries rated by Airbit will be sent to S1 to judge. The top 15 entries with the highest public votes will go straight to S1 without being rated by Airbit.
We will watch and rate every entry based on 4 criteria: Originality, creativity, expression and concept. We rate each of those criteria out of 100, giving your entry a score between 0 - 400. This rating is private and is only visible to the Airbit team.
To gain votes you need to share your entry with your fans & followers. People can vote very easily, by connecting their Facebook account on your entry page. And that’s all they need to do!
Once the ratings and voting stage is over, we’ll send over the top 50 entries to S1. We’ll notify by email all 50 of those entrants that will have their song listened to and judged by S1.
Winners will be publicly announced on 19th July 2019. You will not be notified if you haven’t won.
We will get in contact with you to let you know what you’ve won, and provide instructions on how to claim your prize(s).
The grand prize will go to one person, with 2 runner ups receiving prizes also.
Sure but we recommend you keep the featuring artist’s contribution to a minimum as we’re rating and judging only one person on each song. The less we hear of you, the less we will be able to judge you.
While you can record the song as a group, only a single individual is rated and judged for each entry and only a single individual can win the prizes.
Please see the homepage for prizes.
